BSG: Blood and Chrome will not be a TV series

They are sticking with the original plan of webisodes to follow the 90 minute TV pilot/film.

I recently just started watching Stargate SG-1. I knew it was around, but never watched it while it was on air. I had even seen the movie it was based on a long time ago. I’m into the second season, and I have to say that I’m enjoying it a lot. It’s simply fun to watch. The sci-fi is not to out there and the performances are more than enjoyable. The stories are generally well paced from episode to episode and in season long stories. This has easily made its way into my top ten sci-fi shows.

And for those of you curious now that I mention it they are: (in no particular order) Doctor Who, Firefly, Star Trek: Voyager, Fringe, Battlestar Galactica, Cowboy Bebop, Star Trek: TNG, Eureka,  Gundam Wing, and now Stargate SG-1.

Bryan Singer's Battlestar Galactica film hires serious script writer

Bryan Singer (The Usual Suspects, X-Men, X2, Superman Returns) has wanted to do a film version of Battlestar Galactica based on the original TV series and no the 21st century Moore reboot for a while, and is hiring the man who wrote “Band of Brothers” and “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole” to write it.

I’m iffy on this because I absolutely loved the Moore reboot of Battlestar Galactica and I don’t know if I want a film with the same name that’s not based on it.
